SOILSCAPE is dedicated to leveraging the potential of Cultural and Creative Industries (CCIs), alongside artists and civil society organizations (CSOs), to promote soil preservation efforts across Europe and beyond. The SOILSCAPE Open Call aims to incentivize the integration of arts, arts-based, and creative approaches to increase soil literacy, raise awareness and engagement with soil and their preservation.


An elaborate FSTP scheme has been developed will support individual applicants and small consortia (up to 3 partners) in the following 2 categories:


Category 1: SOILSCAPE FSTP


This category includes the selection of 12 sub-projects at different geographic scales (local, national, transnational) within 3 specific strands of action, lasting six 6, 12 or 18 months. The strands are:

  1. Develop innovative communication campaigns
  2. Organise and promote artistic-soil related activities
  3. Deploy innovative, creative, and participatory methodologies to engage citizens with soil protection and preservation


Category 2: Soil Orchestra FSTP


This category includes the selection of 24 sub-projects with actions taking place within each of the 8 Soil orchestras (3 per country). Each Soil Orchestra has defined their own sub-categories (actions). The Soil Orchestra countries are:


  • France
  • Italy
  • Germany
  • Portugal
  • Finland
  • Bulgaria
  • Poland
  • Switzerland
