Path4Med

The purpose of the Path4Med Open Call is to build the capacity of public authorities to implement and test innovative solutions that aim to reduce fertilizer use and prevent, minimize, or remediate pollution caused by excess nutrients. Through this Open Call, the project seeks to transfer and scale solutions developed within Path4Med’s Demonstration Sites, while fostering local ownership and adaptation in diverse Mediterranean and associated regions.

The Open Call has three main objectives:

• Reproduce and demonstrate the functionality of Path4Med solutions, validating their impact and usability across different geographical, social, and agricultural contexts.

• Accelerate the uptake of innovative, sustainable solutions (particularly in less developed or more vulnerable regions) to support long-term environmental protection and sustainable agriculture.

• Empower public authorities and citizens to take active roles in addressing water, soil, and ocean pollution through practical action, collaboration, and knowledge exchange.
