OFELIA

OFELIA aims to accelerate digital transformation and innovation in the Functional Foods and Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (FFMAP) sectors, with a strong focus on less developed regions across Europe. The project will launch one Open Call providing financial support to SMEs through small, regionally based consortia, resulting in a total of 16 funded sub-projects implemented under two complementary strands. The Open Call aims to support SMEs from less developed regions in strengthening and completing FFMAP value chains by enabling the testing, optimisation, and validation of innovative products, production processes, and digital solutions. Funded activities may include the design and demonstration of new or improved products, services, or processes, as well as piloting, large-scale validation, and market replication of solutions that are new to Europe or new to the application sector.
